minutesLooking for a new way to do steak on the grill? Try this delicious grilled steak tacos recipe with grilled slaw, simple taco seasoning and lots of lime, garnished with sour cream, avocado and cilantro.
Ingredients
- For the Steak:
flank steak
olive oil
honey
lime juice of
Simply Organic® Mild Taco Seasoning Mix
- For the Slaw
small head red cabbage, cut into 4 wedges with core intact
green onions, chopped
fresh cilantro, chopped
sea salt or Himalayan pink salt
lime juice of

olive oil
- For Assembly:
soft corn tortillas
Sour cream, for garnish
Avocado slices, for garnish
Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Directions
- To make the Steak:
- In a large glass dish, place steak. Using a fork, poke holes in steak to infuse marinade.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, honey, lime juice and taco seasoning mix.
- Pour marinade over steak and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Heat grill to medium-high heat.
- Once hot, place steak on grill and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is achieved. Remove from grill and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
- To Make the Slaw:
- On cooler parts of grill, place cabbage wedges. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes on each side, until the outsides are crispy and the insides are soft and tender. Remove from grill, let cool, then slice into thin strips.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine cabbage, green onions, cilantro, salt, lime juice, taco seasoning and olive oil. Stir until well mixed.
- To Assemble:
- Divide sliced steak among tortillas and top with slaw, sour cream, avocado and cilantro.
