Rose absolute essential oil is extracted from the petals through solvent extraction, while rose otto is extracted through steam distillation. Where does it come from?
Rose essential oil comes from the petals of the flower, Rosa damascena. Aura Cacia Rose Essential Oil is grown in the “Valley of the Roses” in Bulgaria. The delicate flowers are hand harvested in a centuries old tradition, then either steam distilled or solvent extraction to yield the essential oil.
